In the USA the Viennese Composer, Conductor und Arranger Max Steiner (1888 - 1971) is seen as the “father of filmmusic”. He is the creator of the score for more then 300 films as for example film classics like "Gone with the Wind", "King Kong" und "Casablanca". Steiner was awarded with three Oscars for his work and still is influencing a new generation of film composers.

The Composer Joseph Haydn died on 31 May 1809. Five days later the tomb was opened and his skull stolen. An odyssey of the skull begins. Ute Gebhardt follows the skull´s trail and investigates the motives of the protagonists. The skull itself takes us back to the famous composer and reveals new aspects of his life.

Together with the rapper Luda C from Ghana I produced a part of the music for Frederick Baker´s multi angel film “Ring Road - A Viennese Odyssey”
It screened at the “Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Sevilla”, Spain in 2008.
The premiere in Vienna is March 24th 2009.
